Shinjuku Japanese Language Institute (SNG) has over 49 years of experience in Japanese language education. Our Japanese language school is approved and certified by the Japanese Ministry of Education, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and the Association for the Promotion of Japanese Language Education. Our school is located in Takadanobaba, a popular student town in the Shinjuku ward of Tokyo. Various metros pass through Takadanobaba Station, making it easy to access from anywhere in Japan.

Campus life
At Shinjuku Japanese Language Institute, students are offered opportunities to participate in various extracurricular activities outside of school. This is a great way for students from different classes to interact and directly experience Japanese culture.
Students can participate in various activities. For example, they can make traditional matcha in a Japanese tea ceremony, or hang wishes on bamboo branches during the Tanabata festival.

Visual Learning Japanese
Visual Learning Japanese (VLJ) enables students to quickly and efficiently acquire the language. SNG offers smartphone and tablet apps that are familiar to students, maximizing their motivation for language learning. Compatibility: Android requirements 4.0.3 and above (varies by device), iOS requirements 6.1 and later (compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch).
Support
Shinjuku Japanese Language Institute offers support in a variety of ways, be it day-to-day support, guidance for higher education, or career counseling. Counselors are available for 30-minute consultations Monday through Friday from 10:00 to 17:00. The sessions are free, and students may meet with counselors as many times as necessary. They are also knowledgeable about the JLPT, EJU, and TOEFL scores that are required, which vary by school or career choice, and can supply interested students with instructions on writing graduate school research proposals.
